Observation Decks, like the one on the ship there are cool. I’ve had the pleasure to be on a few of them and always have felt like each time was the first time. They make me smile. Having taken this picture on a trip to Vancouver, BC, got me thinking about their usage and what analogy they could represent (hmm) If you were on this ship our in a harbor somewhere, anxious to get into port, how would you look at that port and all the rich details it offered your eyes, albeit from a distance … Once moored, how would the way you looked at the port change?
Up close and personal versus far away. We use our eyes differently for viewing things from these two modes… how about LIFE? how about LOVE? PEOPLE? PLACES? THINGS?
Observations- I’ll comment on mine and hopefully you’ll see some similarity to some of yours. Leave a comment if you so choose!
The other ‘event’ I recall from this day in Vancouver is that when I arrived there had been a bog fire that had obstructed the sun so much, a number of flights were canceled! Makes for the perfect icon to represent ‘seeing things clearly’ yes? I just remember how happy I was to finally be able to take my new camera around and get the shots I had to wait two days for!
Here then, my Observation Deck! oh! you can now click on the images below and maybe if you do it nicely, they’ll take you someplace else that I think is worth seeing!

great images! =)
…thanks Aurie for taking the time to comment. It means a lot to me as someone just ‘finding their voice’ in this way. Picking up the camera is almost as much a pleasure as singing and writing!
Hey, thank you for the nice comment on my last post. I like to think that Great Minds Think Alike.
…alright, my friend, when I need reminders that I am a “Great Mind”, I’m coming to you!!! Seriously, keep doing what you’re doing. I think you’ll get lots of folks considering their views on what love really is with that post!
Greetings, and thanks so much for commenting on my recent post “Continuous Cocreation.” I’m glad you found the tips in there helpful and inspirational. Using your clock chime as a manifesting reminder/reprogramming aid will be a wonderfully easy way to stay positive and create what you want in your life.
I love your photos! You truly have an eye for both amazing places, people and moments…and also composition. My husband is an artist so I get a lot of exposure to things of beauty and while I myself rely on words as my art form (you may enjoy some of my poems on my blog or website: http://www.LoveandSpirit.org), I do recognize excellent art when I see it! Including your photos.
Blessings & blissings to you,
Sage Taylor Kingsley

Hello and yes, I have found your tips very helpful and inspirational. In my life at this time getting my focus and vibration raised to new levels has become very important.
I also thank you for the comment on my photos. All on the main page were taken by me except the one of the ‘Naked Cowboy’. Throughout the blog there are some others that I cannot claim as my own and will make it a point to link them to their appropriate site(s). I mentioned this in one of my other posts for anyone who may wonder.
You mention that your husband is an artist. Is he a photographer or painter? I enjoy several means of expression from the photos, to music making, to writing. I enjoy it all equally. My closest friend is a painter whom I watched begin with stick figures and now is utterly amazing with water colors and oils. I will take a look at your poetry as well. Keep doing what you’re doing with the pen…it’s wonderful!!!
I am sorry to see you left. Best wishes
Hi Serena… not gone, just a much needed break and time to recharge and realign with Self. There will be several new pieces soon plus, for the first time, a tune or two of the music I create! I look forward to sharing that as well. Hope all is well with you? Blessings…
Good to hear from you, looking forward to listen to your new music, let me know when and where you will download them. I agree on realignment, it is more clearing the vessel for me! S
